They came back yesterdy morning for about an hour or so and tidied it all up, did a bit of spray painting (the whirlybird colour didn't match) and it was all done. We have the antenna people coming Wednesday to put up our new digital arial.
The old digital one (which was only a few months old really) is in pieces on our front lawn at the moment. So it's no tv at all till Wednesday, hmmm eeek, will I survive not seeing the biggest looser weigh in tonight, of course I will, LOL.
I've uploaded a few of photos, of the old roof as they started to strip it, only had time for one. Then a couple of the new finished roof.

Ain't she pretty!!
Our garage got done on Friday as well, same type of roof as the house too. The canvas awning people came too, so the new awnings over the two back side sliding doors look rather spiffy as well.
They took a bit longer to do the garage because they had to yet again decontaminate everything in there from the asbestos dust. But this time we were ready for them, before they came we'd already moved everything we could to the new shed hubby's been finishing off and into our office. At last I can safely park the new car in there!Hmmm looking at my front garden, I so love my frangipani tree, it had the best show of flowers ever this year, it's a pink one! But it's looking a little forlorn as all the leaves are dropping with winter coming, as for the rest of the garden, don't look too closely we are fighting a never ending battle with the grass growing into the garden bed, it's a nightmare and one we are about to give up on.
We are thinking of letting the grass take over. I'll pull out my rose bushes and pot them instead. It'd have to be easier to manage than what it's like now. Mind you it's a darn sight better than when we first bought the place. Can you picture the left of the garden where the frangipani is coming 1/2 way down the driveway in a half circle, with all bush rocks and horrible other crappy wierd looking shrubs in it? It was horrible and took away half our lawn.
We've room to park 6 cars on there now, as well as still being able to go up and down our narrow drive way to the back yard.
Well that's all for today, thanks for popping by, catch you all again soon. Looks like we are about to get some rain, yay, test the new roof!
